Built by a Chef. Made for Burgers.
The Boring Burger was founded by chef Jamie Kuhl, with one simple ambition: to create one of the best burgers in the UK. With a background working in high-end kitchens, from small Michelin-star-level restaurants to prestigious hotels including Claridge's, Jamie has brought the same attention to detail, quality and technique found in fine dining into something much simpler — a seriously good burger.
Our story started three years ago, trading out of Pews Bar & Courtyard in Guildford, where The Boring Burger first began to build its following. We've also kept our connection with Pews, with their courtyard providing outdoor seating and additional space for larger parties and overflow from the restaurant — bringing us back to where the journey first started.
At The Boring Burger, we believe the best food starts with the best ingredients, which is why we make as much as possible from scratch. Our sauces are made in-house, our beef is 40+ day dry-aged and custom ground specifically for our patties by renowned British butcher Aubrey Allen, and our signature buns are made exclusively for us by Seven Seeded to our own specification. Every element has been carefully developed with one goal in mind: making the best burger we possibly can.
What started simply as a passion for great burgers has grown into something we're incredibly proud of. The Boring Burger was named a National Burger Awards finalist in both 2025 and 2026, and in 2026 we were also recognised on the World's Best Burger list.
From our beginnings in the Pews courtyard, the goal has never changed: to create the best burger in the UK — and we feel we're right up there.
